FINTECH AND ECOMMERCE MISSION TO MOSCOW

Dmitry Fokin, Managing Director of IXcellerate, will attend the conference “Gaining advantage through disruptive technologies” that will be held on 28 February at the British Ambassador’s Residence.

Technology is disrupting traditional banking and retail industries forcing businesses to adapt to survive the ever increasing competition. The Russian technology sector is growing fast with double digital growth in some sub-sectors making it of high priority for many financial institutions, technology firms, e-commerce companies and governments.

The Event

The aim of the event is to showcase UK expertise in innovative financial and ecommerce technologies to a targeted and invited audience of leading Russian banks, financial organisations, retail chains, online platforms and industry experts.

The event will feature 2 sessions focused on FinTech and ecommerce solutions followed by a networking reception. Each participating company will have an opportunity to pitch in front of an audience of 100+ decision makers and industry professionals and benefit from networking opportunities at the evening reception.

The event will focus on payment and security solutions for banking and ecommerce. However big data, innovative apps, KYC and customer profiling technologies will be considered as well.

The conference will be held within the framework of UK-Russia FinTech Working Group which helps improve prospects for business in the financial and professional services industries in both countries and unites high-level specialists from Russia and the UK.
