17 October 2012, Moscow, Russia & London, UK: IXcellerate, a datacentre provider in Moscow and Alliance Member of the International Data Centre Group (IDC-G), today announces that Cirex, a leading communications service provider in Russia, has connected IXcellerate’s Tier 3 Moscow One datacentre to its dedicated fibre network to enable customers – some of the Worlds’s leading financial and media companies – to benefit from the fastest speeds and most secure connections to their vital data and applications. Two geographically independent routes are being implemented with the first already in place and operational.
Demand for premium carrier-neutral data center in Russia continues to grow rapidly. Phase I construction of IXcellerate’s 6,200 square metre datacentre is on schedule with load testing due November 2012 .
