The rapid development of artificial intelligence is driving increased demand for data center services, while simultaneously presenting new challenges for the industry.
Rising energy consumption and the need to modernize infrastructure to support innovations have become becoming key tasks for market participants.
Andrei Aksenov, CEO of IXcellerate, shared insights on how the company is effectively adapting to these changes and reflected on the achievements of the year.
Building ahead of schedule.
IXcellerate continues to build new data centers and machine halls with all construction projects running ahead of schedule. In 2024, we significantly expanded the MOS5 data center by commissioning two new phases (1,590 rack spaces) and the first “greenfield” data center, MOS3.
Innovating for energy efficiency.
Our R&D team works on energy-efficient solutions, including combined liquid-air cooling technologies for racks with loads of 60 kW and above. These innovations ensure stability and scalability of data centers even under significant increases in power consumption.
Trusted by over 175 customers.
IXcellerate serves more than 175 organizations maintaining a commitment to transparency and predictability in contract payments.
Enhancing In-House Capabilities.
IXcellerate has established a dedicated service department. Our accumulated expertise allows us to independently conduct technical inspections and maintenance for a range of equipment. The company strategically balances tasks suitable for outsourcing with those best handled in-house.
Expanding multi-vendor partnerships.
IXcellerate continues to expand collaboration with new suppliers and manufacturers as part of a multi-vendor strategy. In addition to thoroughly reviewing documentation, our team regularly visits factories, ensuring reliability and service guarantees for data center engineering systems.
Partnering with the scientific community.
The company is focusing on collaboration with the Russian scientific community. A partnership with National Research University “MPEI,” established in 2024, will help accelerate the localization of data center technologies. Key focus areas include the development of automated control systems, design of power distribution schemes, and modeling of energy installations and cooling systems.
Strengthening the team
Despite a shortage of highly qualified specialists, IXcellerate successfully attracts and retains industry professionals. Competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, fitness programs, training, contribute to this success.
IXcellerate concludes the year by laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth while successfully addressing market challenges and customer expectations. The company confidently stands as a leading driver in the industry, implementing cutting-edge technologies and fostering long-term partnerships.
