Capacity Russia&CIS 2019
Sergey Vysemirsky, IXcellerate Technical Director, has been invited to join the expert panel at Capacity Russia&CIS 2019. The event will take place in Moscow on April 2-3, 2019.
Data centres in Russia are doing things differently: choice of location, security measures and environmental concern amongst them. New innovations have emerged, such as environmentally-conscious cooling systems and Cloud Xchange, allowing customers to access different clouds and thus contributing to efforts to encourage traffic flows through Russia. This session will explore these developments in cloud deployment, and examine the following:
- What is the difference between public and private cloud and how can data centres facilitate access to both for their customers?
- New regulation in Russia enforces data storage for up to 3 years – what are the implications for businesses and data centres in terms of adapting to this requirement?
- What is edge and how does it impact data center and cloud services in Russia and beyond?
- What are the implications for local and international businesses of the Russia-specific Yarovaya law on data?
