ixcellerate at the control 2025 conference innovations in data center operation automation and monitoring

On March 18, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Automated Systems for Process Control” (Control-2025) took place at the National Research University “MPEI.”

Experts from IXcellerate participated, including Artem Kataraev, Deputy Technical Director, and Kirill Voynakov, Director of Operations, as well as Alexander Zhilyaev, System Architect from “System Electric” Group.

During the plenary session, we made a presentation focusing on “Principles of Data Center Operations Automation,” where emphasized the importance of integrating infrastructure management and equipment monitoring in a 24/7 mode. We discussed system integrity, flexibility, scalability, and the use of data analytics to enhance operational efficiency.

An example of implementing these principles was the project to replace the WebTMA software with a domestic equivalent of the maintenance management system (CMMS), which is designed to ensure long-term maintenance planning, automatic creation and tracking of work orders, as well as integration with external information systems via a standard API.

Further, our colleagues shared their experiences and presented innovative solutions for round-the-clock monitoring of data center engineering systems, enabling effective management of key engineering systems’ conditions.

IXcellerate data centers, including MOS5, use the Systeme Platform software to increase reliability and predict potential failures, ensuring 99.982% uptime and maximum operational efficiency.

Key benefits of the used monitoring solution included:

  • real-time monitoring of over 100,000 parameters,
  • integration with domestic software solutions to minimize risks and ensure security,
  • system scalability for working with large data volumes.

At the end of the event, our team reminded that last year IXcellerate and MPEI signed a cooperation agreement, under which joint research activities, knowledge and experience exchange, as well as student internships at IXcellerate facilities with the possibility of further employment on a competitive basis are being conducted.
