| IXcellerate recently sponsored the annual Capacity Russia & CIS. The event was held in Moscow on October 3rd and 4th, and attended by over 400 telecommunications professional from Russian and international carriers. The event proved a great success as IXcellerate witnessed great interest from company representatives for its data centre facilities.
IXcellerate also was represnted on one of the panel discussions, “Is the Data Centre market the new opportunity in Russia & the CIS.” Mike Segal, Director of Strategy & Business Development with IXcellerate represented Ixcellerate along Level 3, Interoute, MSK-IX, NIX.CZ, and Terabit Consulting.”It was an honour to be on such a distinguished panel and to hear the differing opinions on the Russian & CIS data centre market. I think what this panel demonstrated is that the Russian market has a large demand for a high quality carrier neutral data centre,” said Mike Segal.
