The IXcellerate team attended the DC Summit in St. Petersburg on May 21. Our Managing Director Konstantin Borman spoke on the outlook and trends of the data center market in Russia, in Europe and globally. He highlighted that a well-equipped, carefully selected site with sufficient power capacity is the key to creating a successful data center business, while such factors as assembling a professional and highly-trained team could potentially slow down the development. Meanwhile connectivity could also be both a driving point and an impediment.
Recently IXcellerate has announced its plans to build additional 200 MW of data center capacity, beginning with the opening of the Moscow South Campus later in 2021.
