IXcellerate has joined the charity marathon Prorvyomsya! (“breakthrough”) to support Russian medical workers, who are fighting for the lives of thousands of people on a daily basis today and who are lacking necessary protective equipment. We considered it our duty to step in and donate to the SOZIDANIYE charity foundation. All collected funds will be used to purchase medical masks, gloves, hygiene products and other protective equipment.
“Having learned about this initiative, we just couldn’t stay away,” says Dina Nurkaeva, chief marketing officer at IXcellerate. The decision to participate in this charity campaign was immediately supported by the company CEO Guy Willner. For several months, he himself has been a volunteer at the UK’s National Health Service, helping to maintain the treatment continuity of large hospitals in London.
“As long as there are coronavirus patients and doctors are treating them, our marathon will go on. We receive daily thanks from the doctors and we are glad that together we have already managed to do a lot! ”, Says Elena Smirnova, General Director of SOZIDANIE. The charity foundation has already purchased the necessary personal protection and medical equipment worth of more than 50 million rubles, distributing it to 80 medical institutions across Russia.
IXcellerate has been collaborating with the SOZIDANIYE fund for several years now, supporting gifted teens from low-income families in Russian regions.
