June, 19 2015, Moscow – IXcellerate, one of the leading Russian data centre operators, successfully organised an Open Doors day and a summer party for its partners and customers.
The event held outside creating an informal atmosphere and positive summer mood for all the guests.
The agenda included guided data centre tours, a series of news announcements and updates from IXcellerate and respective partners, as well as a packed entertainment program including a rock band!
With more than 100 representatives of leading Russian and International companies taking part, including our special guests and event sponsor HP – the event showcased Moscow One’s development over the last 12 months and presented plans for the next 12.
News Announcements Included:
- Opening of the Phase 2, which tripled operational space, allowing a total allocation of 700 racks in two halls.
- Development plans – Moscow One Data Centre is designed inside one building, development is planned in 4 modules: Phase 1 and Phase 2, which are ready and operational, Phase 3 and Phase 4 are currently under construction and are scheduled to launch in 2016–2017. Encompassing this expansion within the campus, will give a total area of 12000 sq. meters and power consumption levels of 14 MVA.
- A special partner program for system integrators and cloud services providers, based on the principal of data centre neutrality.
- Launching of Eurasia:Peering and its first partners – London Internet Exchange (LINX) and MSK-IX. The opening of this peering platform for traffic exchange greatly simplifies the connection procedure between operators (there are 23 providers on site) and also guarantees minimal delays of packet transmission.
