January 27, 2016. Moscow and London: IXcellerate announced today that its Moscow One Datacentre for the second consecutive year has been granted the prestigious Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard 3.1 (PCI DSS 3.1).
The internationally recognized certificate provides an actionable framework for developing a robust payment card data security process, including prevention, detection and appropriate reaction to security incidents. It requires any business that handles sensitive card data and outsources its storage to a Datacentre is required to demonstrate that the Datacentre also meets the requirements of the PCI practice. The PCI DSS 3.1 was issued by Verizon, a globally recognized leader in security and technologies and is one of the primary Security Assessors in the industry.
