19 November 2013, London, UK & Moscow, Russia: IXcellerate, Moscow’s premier carrier neutral datacenter, and RETN, a leading Russian wholesale telecom and backbone provider, have launched interconnection with a RETN Point of Presence in IXcellerate Moscow One Datacentre.

IXcellerate’s clients now benefit from additional connectivity on RETN’s pan-European cross-border optic network. RETN, in return, is able to establish an access point in Moscow to Western standard infrastructure and data network services from within IXcellerate Moscow One, while offering reasonable cross-connect pricing.

“The ultra broadband RETN network passes between key points of the international internet and data traffic concentration. The RETN PoPs are located in many of leading Datacenters. Presence at IXcellerate Moscow One makes our network even more attractive and available to our clients,” says Ilya Nikishin, CTO RETN.

“Combining RETN’s pan-European cross-border optic network with IXcellerate Moscow One’s reliable infrastructure, allows both of our clients to be better served,” comments Guy Willner, CEO of IXcellerate.
