Sumitomo Corporation, one of the leading global corporations, made an equity investment in IXcellerate. The investment was created to fund IXcellerate’s growth strategy within Russia, supporting the development and expansion of the Moscow One Datacentre facilities. As a Non-Executive Member of the Board, Sumitomo understands the attractiveness of the independent Tier 3+ datacentre in Moscow and believes in IXcellerate’s business model and its growth.
Being a long-term investor Sumitomo has no doubt in the value that the Moscow One Datacentre will deliver. Currently offering its services to the big industry players in financial, telecom, IT services and corporate sectors IXcellerate demonstrated the ongoing demand in the Russian market.
